It's Saturday, August 13th and I do want to keep in touch with you all so I'd better keep working on this a bit. Our son Mark and his wife Lisa went on a short vacation today for their 1st wedding anniversary. It was storming and pouring all the way to St. Louis and when they arrived there tonight, the hotel had no power. I hope it comes back quick. Will have to post a picture of the both of them when they get back home next week.

I went shopping today and picked up some black and orange yarn for halloween squares. Can't believe how fast this year is going by again. I also started a doily in a cappuccino color. Made it all the way to round 10 so far. Will post a current picture tomorrow afternoon.

My niece Andrea and her husband Brant drove down to Disney World Thursday and they are staying until next week Sunday. We still would like to go to Colonial Williamsburg this year. Maybe after Labor Day, I hope.

That's all the excitement for this week. It's still very hot and humid here.
